Hebrews 13

First Things First- Open your time in prayer.

Ice Breaker Activity: If offered a vacation venue, which would you choose- a resort, a cruise, or a cabin in the mountains? Why?

Hebrews 13:1 exhorts the readers to “keep on” or “continue” to love one another as brothers and sisters. Discuss practical ways that love can be given and received within the household of faith.

In the group, discuss the things that we are to remember, continue, and not forget or neglect.

See Hebrews 13:2, 3, 7, 16. How are you/we doing?

See where Jesus went- and discuss what He did and accomplished while there. Hebrews 6:19-20 &

Hebrews 13:11- 12.

Let’s talk contentment. See Hebrews 13:5-6 &

1 Timothy 6:6-11. Discuss what contentment is and how we might live more contented lives.

See Hebrews 13:7, 17, 24. Review Hebrews 13:17 and discuss possible ways to “make more fun” the job of our spiritual leaders.

Read aloud the doxology of Hebrews 13:20, 21.
