Walk the Walk

Ephesians 2:8-10

First Things First- Open your time in prayer.

Ice Breaker Activity: Share with the group a time when you did hard work or an exhausting job. Where were you, what was the job, who were you with, and other than tired, how did it make you feel?

Read aloud Ephesians 2:8-10. Discuss what it might mean to “walk in good works.”

Read silently Matthew 5:13-16. Why might Jesus have used the images of salt and light? Share the role and benefits of good deeds.

Read aloud Acts 20:35. What comes to mind when Paul refers to “hard work?” According to this verse, what is one of the purposes of hard work? Talk about some other possible benefits of working hard.

End your Bible time by reading and discussing

Hebrews 13:16.
